It's 11 am at a private weighbridge on the outskirts of Bhiwadi. A loaded coal truck rolls onto the 18-metre platform. The operator notes the truck number, the consignor and the consignee on the screen. The indicator settles in 4 seconds. The slip prints. The truck rolls off. Three minutes, gate-to-gate. The IND-series indicator drives the cell readout. The junction box sums the 8 shear-beam cells under the platform. Why weighbridge weighing is a uptime problem.
Weighbridges run 12 hours a day, six days a week, often in dust and direct sun. The cell has to be IP68 and the cabinet has to handle 45 °C summer temperatures without drift. The indicator has to settle in under 5 seconds across a 60-tonne span. The slip workflow has to fit the operator's existing logbook — and now, the government's electronic permit portal.
The Eagle Weigh weighbridge stack is built around the EGL CFG / CFR Combi intelligent terminal. It carries 16,000 records of weighment memory — six months of trade. It handles SMS, USB export, and live sync into Khanij Mitra (Uttarakhand mining e-Rawanna), FCI Hafed and Anna Darpan.

Weighbridge FAQ.
How long does installation take?
For a pre-foundation site, 5–7 working days end-to-end: cell-and-junction-box drop, terminal install, calibration with a known reference load, dry-run of the slip workflow with the operator.
What's the calibration interval?
We recommend annual re-calibration. Sites running > 100 trucks/day benefit from six-monthly checks; we offer service contracts for both intervals.
Does the terminal handle e-Rawanna and FCI Hafed sync?
Yes. Direct API sync into Khanij Mitra (Uttarakhand), FCI Hafed and Anna Darpan. Queued slips post when the link returns if internet drops.
What about IP class on the cell?
All cells we ship for weighbridge use are IP67/IP68 — designed for outdoor pit installation in dust and rain.
How does the SMS facility work?
The terminal has an onboard SMS modem (SIM-card slot). On weighment, it dispatches the configured slip text to up to 5 phone numbers — consignor, consignee, dispatcher, accounts, transporter.
