Eagle Weigh
Industries we serve

Retail & POS. Counter, shop, mandi.

Eagle Weigh price-computing cards run weighing across the Indian retail spectrum — neighbourhood grocers, mandis (wholesale produce markets), fruit and vegetable counters, retail chains. The card computes price-per-kg in real time, prints a slip, and pairs with a printer indicator for receipts.

The story

Where the day starts at 6 am.

Picture a Tuesday morning at a Sabzi Mandi in West Delhi. The wholesaler's clerk is weighing forty crates of tomatoes for a buyer who arrived in a tempo at 5:55. By the time the truck reverses out of the gate, eight slips have to be printed, totals tallied across three buyers, and the morning's takings reconciled against the supply book. The clerk has 90 seconds per crate. Every gram counts, every second more so.

This is the workflow Eagle Weigh designed the PC-series card for. Price-per-kg computes the moment the weight settles, the slip prints in under five seconds, the RTC stamps the date and time. The clerk doesn't think about the scale — the scale gets out of the way.

Why retail uses Eagle Weigh.

Retail weighing needs three things at the same time: instant price-per-kg computation, a clean printed slip with the date and time, and a reading that doesn't drift between the morning and evening shifts. The PC-series card handles all three on a single board.

For mandi (wholesale) operators we add piece-counting — count a sample of 10 mangoes, scale to the full crate. The printer indicator carries a thermal roll that can hold 1,000 weights in memory — a full week's trade without a single export to USB.

For neighbourhood grocers, the operator-prompt screens skip the configuration menu entirely. The shopkeeper enters price-per-kg once, every sale after that is a one-button operation.

Common questions

Buying for a counter — FAQ.

Will the slip print fast enough at peak hours?

Yes. The thermal printer slip lands in under 5 seconds end-to-end, and the indicator can hold a queue of weighments while the slip is being torn off.

How do I update the price-per-kg?

Two key-presses on the operator panel. We pre-train the counter-staff during installation; most stores have the workflow memorised within a single shift.

Does the cell handle wet produce (tomatoes, leafy veg)?

Yes. The 642 and 646B aluminium cells are IP67-sealed — fine for routine spray-and-wipe cleaning at the counter.

Can I export the day's takings?

USB pen-drive export is standard on the printer indicator. Day-end totals land as CSV; party-wise totals are a one-key filter.

What if I outgrow the counter?

The PC card stack scales up to a multi-counter retail-chain rollout — we keep the slip format constant across outlets.
