Why a single company should own the whole stack.

A weighing system has four hard things inside it: the board that reads the load-cell signal, the firmware that turns that signal into a number, the software that records and reports the number, and the load cell itself that produces the signal. Most weighing companies buy one of these from one vendor and a second from another. When something drifts — when the number on the screen disagrees with the number on the paper slip, when a govt portal rejects the sync — no single vendor owns the problem.

Eagle Electric Company was founded in 2004 to do it differently. We designed our first PCB in-house, on FR4 we could specify ourselves. Then we wrote the firmware that ran on it. Then we brought the surface-mount line in-house so we could build the board the way our firmware needed it built. And finally we wrote the application software that turns weighments into reports, slips, SMS notifications and government-portal entries.

Load cells are the exception. We didn't reinvent the wheel: the world already has excellent load-cell makers — Zemic in the USA, Kevin Sensors, Green Label CZL, Rudraa, Alutronic — and we partner with them, calibrate each cell to our boards, and ship the whole system as one product with one warranty.

That's the entire pitch: we own the brain. We curate the senses. When a weighbridge stops behaving, you call us, not four different vendors.
